Meet Our FANTASTIC Cast

Sierra Sanchez - Alice
Sierra is so excited to be involved in this performance of Alice in Wonderland: An Anarchist Ballet! Some of her favorite credits include American Idiot (Extraordinary Girl), Mamma Mia (Rosie), A Chorus Line (Kristine), Once Upon a Mattress (Jester), and many others! She recently graduated from high school and plans to attend UNC Greeley in the fall. She hopes you enjoy this wonderful show!

Jourdyn Russell - Cheshire Cat
Jourdyn has always had a passion for dance. After college, she took a couple years of detour from dancing, in which time she got her yoga teaching certification and interior design certification. Jourdyn recently realized that dance is an integral part of her soul - this project was the perfect way to reintegrate dance back into her life! Aside from dance, she loves photography, painting, and crafting. She sells her art, Amanita Aesthetics, at the Something Different Variety Shows around Denver/Boulder. She is so excited about this project and can’t wait to continue working with these amazing dancers in the next one!
She also loves her sweet angel pup-boy, McTavish!

Lauren Russell - Mad Hatter
Lauren is so happy to be involved in this project! As a dance teacher and choreographer, she fervently believes that dance is for everyone. She loves Jourdyn's concept of creating a group that gives people of all ages, styles, and skill levels the opportunity to dance and perform. It has been so fulfilling to help produce this show, and also incredibly fun to be in it! Lauren looks forward to being involved in many future projects with Something Different and The Upstart Crow, and is excited to continue to develop this dance troupe with Jourdyn and her growing community of dancers!

Will Treat - March Hare
This is Will's first time down the rabbit hole! He was last seen in Performance Now's production of The Music Man and also choreographed their production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels last Spring. Favorite roles include Tilney in Shakespeare in Love (Vintage), Adult Billy in the regional premiere of Billy Elliott the musical (Vintage), and Ugly Showgirl in The Producers (Performance Now). Thank you to Lauren and Jourdyn Russell for this fun experience!

Katy Morrison - Queen of Hearts
Katy started dancing when she was 3 years old, and began to dance competitively at age 7 and through high school. While she enjoys performing many styles, her favorites are jazz and hip hop! She has a performer's spirit, and enjoys the opportunity to express herself creatively. She is grateful for the opportunity to get back into dance and be a part of this collaborative, artistic production!

Ryker Schindler - White Rabbit
Ryker is so excited to be included in this, his first ever dancing show! He’d like to thank Lauren and Jourdyn for trusting him and his ability to work hard in short notice. He’s not one to shy away from a challenge when something theatre related comes his way. It’s his passion and joy. Thanks to Miki for the rides and support and to Mom and Dad for always saying, “Ok!”!

Melissa Castaldo - Tweedles
After a long break from dancing, Melissa is excited to be a part of Alice. (Please don't judge her too harshly.) She has been in several theatrical performances with tuc since 2014. She juggles family, theatre, work, and a herd of Corgis with enthusiasm. After CrowFest, Melissa can be seen in The Vagina Monologues at the Theater Company of Lafayette at the end of July.

Brandon Doulos Garrett - Caterpillar
Writer, Rapper, Actor, Poet, Podcaster
